On July 6th, artist Hedwig Houben received the Charlotte Köhler Prijs 2017, Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds. 

This spring the first monograph on her work was published by Jap Sam Books. GRIP is edited by Zoë Gray, with a design by Goda Budvytyté, and text contributions by Vanessa Desclaux, Zoë Gray, Hedwig Houben and Rita McBride. This publication was made possible by the Mondriaan Fund, Galerie Fons Welters, Spike Island and La Galerie, centre d'art contemporain de Noisy-le-Sec.
